Strong Showing In Magny Cours Fails to Bring deserved Results Despite limited testing, a good lap in qualifying saw Ben put the Escuela Española de Pilotos run Mosler 2nd, just 2 tenths off pole at the end of the 1 hour qualifying session.

Francisco started the 6 hour race and did a fantastic double stint, lapping consistently quickly and handing the number 10 Mosler over where it had started, right at the front of the field.

Pedro was next and soon settled down into a good rhythm, also lapping consistently well. Unfortunately towards the end of his first stint, while passing a backmarker, contact was made. Although he was able to get the car back to the pits, there was too much damage to continue, ending their race on the spot.

Ben was gutted afterwards “That was really disappointing as I think we had a very good chance to win that one, although obviously it was still early days. What a double stint from Francisco, that was fantastic and Pedro was going well too. It was just one of those things, with so many cars at different speeds; traffic is always a potential banana skin. We had very good pace all weekend and the car ran faultlessly, so I can’t wait for Estoril, which is also Francisco and Pedro’s home circuit.”
