Silverstone Speed Euroseries After a difficult testing session, a few changes were made to the number 14 Xero Competition run car. These proved to be exactly what was needed as Ben, after a succession of quick laps, put the WFR 3rd on the grid in a tightly contested session.

The Northampton based driver started race 1 and initially struggled in the early stages, dropping to 5th, as the balance of the car seemed to have changed with the full fuel load. After a brilliant pitstop by the team, Tom Bradshaw was in the car and had leap frogged up to 3rd. Unfortunately, shortly into his stint a spinning backmarker caught the number 14 WFR, and ended their race on the spot.

After a quick rebuild of the heavily damaged car, Tom started race 2. After running strongly in fourth in the early stages a mechanical gremlin, caused by the earlier accident in race 1, put an end to their chances.

Ben was slightly disappointed afterwards; ďItís been an up and down weekend. Qualifying went pretty well and I was happy with third. Itís a real shame we had the incident in race 1, as I think we could have finished 2nd, but itís just one of those things, no-oneís fault. The team did a great job getting the car built back up again and I have to say a massive thank you for that. Itís just disappointing all their efforts werenít rewarded.Ē
